Orthotics

An Orthotics is a device that aids the body to carry out its function better . Foot Orthotics correct malfunction in the feet thus preventing and treating foot , hip , knee and lower back pain. In order to create a prescription Orthotic you need to have a 3D cast of your feet taken , 3D Laser scanning is the most accurate method of creating a 3D digitized cast of your feet from which we then model your individual and unique Orthotic.

Once a 3D model has been taken of your feet via Laser scan, it is then sent to FootHealths lab in England. When the scan data is received at the lab, the prescription is then decided by lab technicians with the aid of our advanced cast correction soft wear. When the prescription has being decided upon the information is then sent to State of the art CNC Milling machines, where the orthotics are milled out to meet your needs. All orthotics have a special micro grove top surface, this top surface creates a non slip environment and allows air to circulate between the foot and the orthotic. It also means that your orthotic can be easly be washed. Depending on requirements; running, golf, high heels etc. special top covers and cushioning can be applied. When your orthotics are finished they are shipped to us immediately after inspection by FootHealths quailty control department.
